So, I'm going to set up my Linksys WRT350n wireless router to share my terabyte hard drive and my printer, both of which use USB to communicate by. I'll do this via SMB and NFS so that Windows clients (smb) and unix clients (nfs) can connect to the resource. Typed up the last part in Zim-Wiki, a desktop note taking app, using wiki technology. It looks way better then the first part.

Welcome to my first note posting on the RELtechs web site. I'm doing this because I always have notes all over different servers and PC's and I can never find what I want, when I want it. So, while this won't be available to me while I'm offline it I can eventually get to it. I made these notes world readable becuase I'd like others who are having the same problems I do to be able to figure out the answers when I do. I'd like to thank Tim for setting this all up years ago, I just never took advantage of it. |
